Create and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
Organize and lead safety training sessions for staff.
Educate employees on safety standards and practices.
Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards.
Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Ensure all safety protocols are consistently followed.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and surveys to maintain safety standards.
Manage and investigate safety incidents and near-misses.
Maintain accurate records of incidents and corrective actions taken.
Lead or participate in safety and infection control committees.
Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations in addition to regulatory healthcare agencies.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Occupational Health, Safety Management), preferred.
Experience in safety coordination, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Starting Salary Range: $28.85 – $30.00 per hour; up to 3% annual increases
