The Be-Fit and Health Wise program began the summer of 2011 as a six week program for children ages 6-14. The goal of the program is for the children to learn how to make healthy choices in food and activities and how what we eat and how much we move affects how our bodies feel. Each year, 40 to 50 pre-teens and teenagers have taken part in activities and field trips focusing on promoting healthy lifestyle choices. The program just completed its tenth year.
